Ybor City’s most interesting movie theatre. One of the gay film fest venues in October, but a good bet anytime with adult-only cinema and cocktails, seated in comfy leather chairs.

Every Saturday 9am to 3pm in Centennial Park, Ybor City, at the corner of 8th Avenue & 19th Street. Local produce, house and garden plants, arts and crafts, ready-to-eat food, and other regional Hillsborough County products.

A professional Tampa theater comany of 25 years, producing plays to entertain, challenge and stimulate. Finishing up the 2010 season at the Shimberg Playhouse in Straz Center, Stageworks will soon move into their permanent home at 1120 East Kennedy Boulevard in the Channelside District.

The largest performing arts complex south of the Kennedy Center. On the east bank of the Hillsborough River, this downtown nine-acre site with five theaters, and a performing arts conservatory, presents top Broadway plays, grand opera, and a variety of concerts, performances and other events. There are also boutiques, three restaurants and banquet facilities.
